Our very first Marvel Cover. As pretentious as it sounds, when I first saw the colors from Sonia, that was when I first fell in love with the character after initially just dismissing her as a pointless (half-pun?) Wolverine clone.

Now she's my favorite Marvel character.

I felt the same about her when she started hanging out with the X-Men during Chris Claremont's last return run as writer on the X-titles, I thought that she was going to be like a more updated Jubilee replacement at the time. Then I got around to reading NYX to see what the fuss had been about, and the miniseries really helped to flesh her out more into a likeable character with an actual origin that isn't a mystery we'll have to wait years to find out about.

the only thing that sort of threw me off at first when I saw this was the completely white background, then when I got in to it and read through the stuff it made alot more sense. you two are badass.
